WESTERN BLOCK EMBASSIES LEND SUPPORT TO GOVT.

WEST BLOCK EMBASSIES PLEDGE SUPPORT

Kathmandu, 30 Aug. Embassies of the western block in the capital asked the Baburam Bhattarai Tuesday to draft a constitution.
European Union, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, South Korea and the United States urged all political parties to give high priority to constitution drafting and the peace process in the extended three-month term of the Constituent Assembly.
"With the agreement to extend the term of the Constituent Assembly for a further three months we hope the new government and the opposition parties will now give high priority to issuing a draft of a new constitution, which commits Nepal to democracy and upholding its citizens´ fundamental rights and freedoms in line with Nepal´s international obligations," Embassy of Denmark, local president of the EU, said in a statement on behalf of the embassies.
The embassies said," We also urge the government and the opposition parties to ensure that the integration and rehabilitation of the former Maoist combatants are brought to a successful conclusion."
The embassies reaffirmed continued commitment and full support to the peace process and reiterated readiness to assist Nepal

NC MEET CONDEMNS FOUR-POINT AGREEMENT BETWEEN MAOISTS AND FOUR MADESHBADI PARTIES

Kathmandu, 30 Aug.: A meeting of NC office bearers Tuesday called a four-point agreement between Maoists and five Madeshbari parties a ‘dhoka’.
President Sushil Koirala earlier ejected a Maoist request to join the Bhattarai government.
A formal decision will be taken by the party central committee, the main opposition said.
Maoist standing committee meet Tuesday endorsed a four-point agreement with Maoists which sealed majority support for Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai in parliament this week.

naturally like your website but you need to check the spelling on several of your posts.
