Govt. efforts to end deadlock

Kathmandu, 29 June: Government Tuesday made its first effort to end a prolonged political deadlock.
A 10-member team of ministers from parties representing parties in government and headed by Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar held consultations with UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal who has been saying Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal must go even though both are from UML.
Gachedhar is Chairman of MJFL and has pushed a government led by Madesh parties if the three big parties fail to form a successor government of Nepal.
The ministerial team is holding discussions with Ram Chandra Paudel, NC Vice-chairman and leader of the parliamentary party.
